Two of the most talented music icons, The Weeknd and Calvin Harris, have teamed up for the first-ever collab, and we're sure you're gonna be impressed! On August 28th, this epic duo released their new song, Over Now, combining their unbelievable vocals and eclectic beats in one track.

The video was directed by Emil Nava, a creative collaborator that Calvin's been working with for years. Nava used computer-generated imagery to give us a glimpse into the mind of The Weeknd throughout the video.

Harris and The Weeknd have been hyping up this new video for weeks now, so we weren't surprised at how incredible this video turned out. The coronavirus pandemic has posed a struggle for many artists but has also given them a chance to get creative when producing new music.

Given the limitations with production, The Weeknd opted for an animated video, which definitely helped us feel like we were getting into his head. We see him walking through a psychedelic world while avoiding the woman in the video, who appears to be his ex, as the song is about a breakup. As you know, The Weeknd is no stranger to using his relationship struggles as his inspiration for lyrics.

This is Calvin's first new project since his last full-length album in 2017, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. After that, he collaborated with Normani in 2018, and then released three extended play tracks under Love Regenerator this past year.
