We've all wondered how Pete Davidson has had such an impressive and extensive list of star-studded celebrity girlfriends, from Ariana Grande and Kaia Gerber to Kate Beckinsale and, most recently, Kim Kardashian. Well, we might finally get some answers! The comedian is starring in his first rom-com, Meet Cute, alongside Kaley Cuoco, hitting Peacock in September. So let's dive right in, shall we?

The former Saturday Night Live star has yet to be the leading man in a rom-com film and typically stays with the more "comedy" side of things. Of course, we love him in SNL, and as devastated as we were to see him go, we can't wait to see him dive deep into a totally new genre. Davidson will be sharing the screen with The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco, who has some experience as the leading lady before, but we have no doubts the two will give us the ultimate chemical on-screen romance!

Following the classic rom-com trope, Meet Cute follows Sheila (Cuoco) and Gary (Davidson), who fall in love at first sight until they realize their meet cute moment was far from fate and completely altered. So, instead of falling in love after meeting each other the first time, Sheila actually has a time machine taking them back to meet each other over and over again - and fall in love with one another over and over again! Cuoco's character does anything she can to get what she wants and ultimately tries to mold Gary into the "perfect man." Well, that can really just go one of two ways...

Ahead of the film's debut next month, director Alex Lehmann shared his excitement for the film, saying, "If I had a time machine right now, I'd be torn." Lehmann continued, "Do I skip ahead to our release date, or do I go back and relive the joy it was making this film? Lucky for me, it's a decision I don't get to make. I'm excited for audiences to get swept away on this wild romantic ride exclusively on Peacock." Well, we are also very excited to get swept away and will be sure to catch Meet Cute as soon as it premieres!
