It's bittersweet news for Never Have I Ever fans as Netflix recently confirmed that the comedy will return for a fourth season - which will also be its last. This announcement comes before a release date for season 3 has even been scheduled. In a joint tweet shared by co-creators Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the pair broke the news. Here's what they announced so far...
"Hey Crickets, we've got some morning announcements for you: Season 3 of Never Have I Ever is gonna drop this summer! Plus, we've just been renewed for a fourth and final season, which we are absolutely thrilled about. We can't wait to reveal all the steamy romance and hilarious adventures we have in store for you. Thanks to all our fans for your support – especially you #Bevi and #Daxton stans. We love you!" This hilarious teen show stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, a desperate-for-love Indian American teenager, navigating her way through the challenge that is high school. With all the romantic-comedy moments you could wish for, Never Have I Ever is the ultimate heartwarming binge. There's even a love triangle for fans to fight over, all hysterically narrated by none other than John McEnroe.
Bela Bajaria, head of global TV, released the following statement: "We are thrilled to have two more seasons of Never Have I Ever. It's everything we want in a Netflix comedy series: authentic, specific, funny, and full of heart. I love that a story I relate to so deeply – about a young, Indian-American girl – hits on so many universal truths that resonate with just about everyone. We're eternally grateful to Mindy, Lang, and the wildly talented cast. And we can't wait for everyone to see the final two seasons!"

Mindy Kaling can really do no wrong in our eyes. If you loved her on The Office as Kelly Kapoor or as the self-centered doctor Mindy Lahiri on The Mindy Project, you will undoubtedly love Never Have I Ever, which she based loosely on her own life growing up as a first-generation Indian American. With two more seasons lined up, we can't wait to see what chaotic adventures Devi and the gang will get up to. If you're not yet a fan, catch it on Netflix now, so you're ready to go when season 3 arrives on our screen. (You can thank us later.)
