She's our favorite mother, spilling the deets on what it's really like to be a mom and we love her for her brutal honesty. This weekend, Netflix announced a new upcoming Christina P comedy special - and we cannot wait to hear what she has to say. Her hilariously relatable tales of the pits and peaks of being a mother are what we've all come to love her for - and with the title of the new show announced as Mom Genes, we're sure there are more humorous anecdotes in store. Are you as excited as we are!? Here's what we know...

In addition to her usual motherhood talk, the comedian is set to discuss the hysterical life stage that is marriage. Viewers are guaranteed to laugh at the behind-the-scenes stories of her fellow comedian husband, Tom Segura, who is just as entertaining in his own right. Two comedians navigating the challenge of parenting together? Sounds like the perfect combination to produce comedic gold.

The married couple is no stranger to Netflix specials, each having hosted some in the past. In 2020, Segura hosted the brilliantly funny Ball Hog, while Christina hosted Mother Inferior and The Degenerates. The latter featured a range of comedians such as Donnell Rawlins, Nikki Glaser, and Ms. Pat, who together make fun of comedy itself. Additionally, the duo has a podcast titled Your Mom's House, where they again entertainingly address the two M's (marriage and motherhood). Apparently, P doesn't like to sleep because she simultaneously hosts another podcast on her own, Where My Moms At? where she talks with other mothers about the joyous and yet draining job of motherhood.

P will be taking part in Netflix's comedy festival Netflix is a Joke, appearing in the Amy Schumer & Friends segment alongside Lil Rel Howery, Chris Distefano, Janelle James, Ron Funches, Rachel Feinstein, and Jaye McBride. This entire streaming event will conclude on Mothers Day, coinciding perfectly with the release of P' Mom Genes released on that day, May 8. Stay tuned to hear about trailer drops and other important details!
