The comedy power duo we don't deserve - Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, are gracing us with their presence yet again, and we cannot wait! The on-screen couple took to their respective Instagrams to announce production has officially begun on an upcoming sequel to the popular Netflix movie Mystery Murder, originally released in 2019.

On and off-screen, Sandler and Aniston are no strangers to each other. The couple shared the screen for the first time in 2011 in the iconic romantic comedy, Just Go With It, but have been friends for over 20 years. In an interview with E!, Aniston shared more about her relationship with Sandler. "He's such a mensch, and you just love each other, he takes you in, and I'm very much the same way," she explained. "And then you become family. It's like second nature." What we would do to get in on a Sander/Aniston family gathering.

The stars both uploaded to Instagram a photograph hugging one another on a beach in Hawaii, following a slide of what appears to be the cast and crew dancing cheerfully. "Back to work with my buddy. #MurderMystery2," Aniston wrote. Adam Sandler even made a little cameo in her video, showing off his dance moves and joy for the upcoming film. Even celebrities such as Jennifer Gardner and Rita Wilson commented on the post, sharing their excitement for Murder Mystery 2. Comedian Molly Shannon chimed in, commenting, "Best duo ever," and boy do we agree!

Although there is not much information regarding the plot of Murder Mystery 2, we can assume there will be lots of laughter involved. Lol. For those who forgot, the first film follows the story of a New York cop, Sandler, and his wife, Aniston, who find themselves in a tricky situation when their relaxing romantic vacation take a turn for the worst. What was supposed to be a getaway intended to save their marriage turns out to be quite the opposite after they are framed for a billionaire's murder. Safe to say, we're expect lots more twists and turns this time around. Until then, stay tuned!
