Diets are hard, folks. I mean, how many times have we told ourselves we're going to 'be healthy' tomorrow, only to be ambushed by Starbucks' irresistible looking muffins as soon as the next day rolls around? Well, if it makes you feel any better, this obsese bear feels the exact same way...

Meet Dillan, the 100-pounds overweight, Asiatic Bear who's just been placed on a severely strict diet. Safe to say, he's not happy about it...

As reported by PETA, the rescued animal was held captive at the Union County Sportsmen’s Club in Millmont, PA for 10 years. Thankfully, he was rescued in January and since treated at The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado's Vet Clinic.

After being brutally neglected and served fatty, restaurant leftovers, Dillon had become morbidly obese. Thanks to his new diet, though, 'Dillon will shed the excess pounds that prevent him from moving naturally. He will begin to build muscle and stamina through play and exercise,' the sanctuary explained.

Unfortunately, his other struggles included 'having teeth, gum lines and jaw bone that continued to be eaten away by a long-standing infection. His paws and many patches of skin on his body were raw from living in an excessively wet environment. Dillon was declawed at some point in his life, which left him with stumps for digits and severely disfigured toes.'

Thankfully, the Colorado sanctuary will be nursing him back to health and providing him with a wholesome life...

'We look forward to Dillon...enjoying (his) new-found happy & health,' the sanctuary shared. We couldn't agree more...
