We were all shocked when LadBaby's ode to sausage rolls topped the Christmas charts last year, crushing artists such as Ariana Grande and Ava Max.

The 'We Built This City... on Sausage Rolls' single made Mark Hoyle (Ladbaby) a one-hit-wonder... until he announced that he was getting back in the recording studio and going for number one again.

He and Ladbaby Mum posted that we could expect a new sausage song to the tune of  Joan Jett's classic 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll'. Fans waited with bated breath and even preordered the song before it was released.

The race for Christmas Number 1 2019 was on... Ladbaby started in a good position by taking an early lead in the competition. The YouTuber was up against artists such as Ed Sheeran and Stormzy with a tune about sausages! It may seem like a joke. However, there's a little more to it...

Every penny the song made went to The Trussel Trust who is attempting to aid the millions of people living below the poverty line in the UK. This is the same foundation that received the profits made by We Built This City... on Sausage Rolls' last year.

Ladbaby had explained that he initially had no intention of making it to number 1 again but, after seeing how much good came from 'We Built This City', he figured there was no harm in trying again.

However, on the 15th of December, Ladbaby received a call to let him know that 'I Love Sausage Rolls' had reached Number One again!!

When finding out that he had reached Number 1, LadBaby said: "Thank you. This is unbelievable, isn't it? The generosity of people at Christmas. Thank you so much for doing this and helping so many people who don't have a lot at Christmas. Last year, the song raised 70,000 emergency food packages for the charity. If we can raise anywhere near that again then, yeah, it's unbelievable."

Although things could shuffle around during the week, Ladbaby seems to have put this one in the bag. If the track maintains the lead position, LadBaby will be the first artist to get two consecutive Christmas Number 1s in over 20 years.
