"I am so excited to be co-directing my first feature film. I get the chance to work with an incredible cast and crew, and to work with a company like 30WEST and Aggregate is a real dream," Wolfhard said in an official press release. The horror-comedy will also star Fred Hechinger from White Lotus and Pam and Tommy, but the plot details are being kept on the down-low for now. However, we do know the principal photography will start later this month in Ontario, Canada.

However, Hell of a Summer will not be the first film Finn Wolfhard has directed! In fact, the actor made his directorial debut in 2020 with his first short film, Night Shifts - which also starred Billy Bryk. Wolfhard later won an award for Best Director at the Atlanta ShortsFest and was nominated for two more awards elsewhere!
