He might be famous for his time at Hogwarts, but Daniel Radcliffe is about to debut a whole new side we've never seen before. And, well, let's just say things are about to get very weird. According to reports, the Harry Potter star is set to star as "Weird Al" Yankovic in an upcoming biopic. Here's what we know so far. Keep scrolling.
On January 18, Roku first broke the big news: "things are about to get weird," the streaming platform teased. As they revealed, Daniel Radcliffe is slated to star in the upcoming Roku Original feature film WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, a mockumentary from the masterminds behind Funny or Die. And from the sounds of it, Weird Al is just as excited as we are. "I am absolutely thrilled that Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying me in the film," Yankovic shared in an official statement. "I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for."
Lucky for us, though, we've already gotten a sneak peek as to what to expect. On Friday, January 21, Radcliffe took us back to Hogwarts as he teamed up with The Late Show for a hilarious spoof trailer. And it was exactly as magical as it sounds. With Weird Al's infamous I Love Rocky Road playing in the background, the minute-long clip showed Harry as he navigated his way around the quill and ink. "Sometimes being weird takes a little bit of magic," the teaser joked (below).

For those who forgot, Weird Al has been blessing us with parody after parody for years now. From Party in the CIA to, of course, I Love Rocky Road, it's always a good time when the comedian is around. And with Daniel Radcliffe set to pick up where he left off, we've got a feeling we're in for a real treat here. Until then, be sure to stay tuned for all the latest updates.
