Cats are great when they're all cuddly and clingy...until they're not, and you can't get anything done because they're busy hijacking your lap. Lucky for you, this couple's hilarious 'lap hack' will be your new best friend...
When Rebecca May and her husband Alex adopted their cat, Ziggy 3 years ago, he was very shy and timid. That is, until he got a little too comfortable, trying to sit on their laps at all hours of the day.
Unfortunately, this became a bit of a problem when the couple began working from home...

“It's almost like your lap is a target and she is straight on there whether you're ready or not," Rebecca explained. So, her husband decided to do something...unconventional about it.
“[Alex] thought that creating a decoy would be funny," stuffing a pair of pants to resemble legs, adding a pair of sneakers and propping it on the couch.

Sure enough, to their amazement, their clingy cat couldn't get enough of the makeshift lap. Ziggy's sister, “Harley was totally uninterested, but Ziggy loved it," May shared.
But Ziggy's not the only one who was impressed. After the happy couple shared the post on Reddit, people everywhere applauded the hack, racking in almost 300 comments.
