The OG of late-night Chelsea Handler is ready to re-join the late-night television circuit and bless us with her presence - so sign us up, please! The hilarious comedian stepped in as guest host for Jimmy Kimmel on his late-night show, and of course, she brought her all. And it seems the week back in front of a live audience was the perfect motivation to get her back on our home screens!

Handler is no stranger to the limelight and late-night television. The New Jersey native had her own late-night show, Chelsea Lately, that began in 2007 and ran for seven years on E!. On the hilarious series, Handler would give her audiences the run down on worldly news, pop culture, some good old celeb gossip, and interview celebs. The show was known for holding a "roundtable" of celebrities who would sit and discuss current events of the world together - and it was hilarious. A few years following the end of Chelsea Lately, Handler and her crew put on After Lately, a semiscripted comedy that gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at those featured on Chelsea Lately - and, of course, Chuy. However, the show stopped rolling in 2013, and since then, Handler has been off lately. But don't worry - she has since added many hysterical specials and hilarious books to her name.

However, nearly a decade later, the comedian has made it clear that she is ready to return following her hosting gig on Jimmy Kimmel Live! During her week as guest host, she was tasked with discussing the sentencing of Ghislaine Maxwell and R. Kelly, the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, and the Jan. 6 hearings - so not such a light week. However, Handler killed it and let the world know via Twitter, "Regarding my return to late-night; I'm ready."

"I have, obviously, very strong and loud opinions, and I like to share them. Especially during a time like this, it's nice for a lot of people to have a female voice out there," Handler told Variety. "I feel like this is a time where it's so important to be represented and to be representing women and to remind people why it's so important to be loud and to be strong," she said. According to Handler, she has not discussed the possibility with anyone other than her agents - but now that it's out there, we'll be manifesting her return! Stay tuned.
