Coming this spring is Bill Maher's latest collaboration with HBO! #Adulting will be the comedian's 12th special that he has had with the television network. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming comedy special.
Since 1989 the 66-year old has been the star of numerous hour-long hilarious shows. From Bill Maher: Live From Oklahoma to Bill Maher: Live from D.C., the Emmy nominated special, The Decider, and many more, he's never failed to get his entire audience to crack up. And now, for his latest release, Maher isn't just writing the hour-long special's script (obviously), but he will also be on the team as an executive producer. He will be working alongside EPs Marc Gurvitz and John Irwin and also with co-executive producer Casey Spira. #Adulting will be directed by Ryan Polito. It had been scheduled to be filmed in Miami, Florida, on Friday, March 4th, and Saturday, March 5th.
The comedian has become well known for his work as a host on HBO's talk show, Real Time with Bill Maher, which has been on the air for 20 seasons! Audiences love the high-spirited, occasionally controversial debates that occur on the show often. It's so successful that in September 2021, it was even renewed for another 2 seasons that will take place through the year 2024. Hosting is something Maher has been good at for a couple of decades. Back in the 1990s, he spent 5 seasons as the host on Comedy Centrals, Politically Incorrect. Before moving on to Real Time in 2003. Throughout the years, he's also made appearances as his funny self in movies and TV shows, including The Interview, Iron Man 3, and The Chris Rock Show. It seems like Maher has been a busy bee!
