If you're anything like us, then the winter months mean just one thing: Netflix. And lucky for us, the international streaming service has delivered a stacked lineup with comedy gold after comedy gold. And it's only gotten better with this incredible announcement that came on January 11th!

Netflix's official Instagram page dropped quite possibly the best news we could have asked for: a brand new stand-up special from LOL-legend himself, Aziz Ansari. It seems while we were all cozied up in our homes during December, Aziz got his creative juices flowing and decided to surprise a small group of comedy lovers in a cozy lounge in the Big Apple. Unlike most of the other large-scale gigs featured in Netflix's stand-up collection, Ansari's Nightclub Comedian is "an intimate surprise gig filmed in New York City." Consider us intrigued!

The comedy special is set to hit the international streaming service later this month on Tuesday, January 25th. And from what fans were commenting on Instagram, it's safe to say that we're not the only ones excited for the fresh new material from the mind behind Master of None. "His last one was amazing, series 3 of Master of None starring Lena Waithe was brilliant... can't wait for more of his stuff!" one user wrote, with another one adding, "Eagerly waiting! This guy just gets funnier with time!" And for Ansari lovers across America, the good news just kept coming. It seems as though Nightclub Comedian was part of a larger comeback for Aziz, who rolled out 12 dates across the States as part of his Last Minute Tour. From Charlotte, North Carolina to Oakland, California, fans can catch Aziz on stage in all his glory. But if you're interested, we'd hurry up if we were you! Tickets are selling out in a number of his planned stops including Austin and Washington. And we can totally see why.

With Aziz kicking off Netflix's first stand-up of 2022, we can only expect things to get bigger and better from here. So if you're a comedy lover, be sure to check back soon as we keep you posted on all things comedy and entertainment.
