Don't get us wrong, we're loving the recent influx of Netflix true-crime documentaries, but sometimes all we want is a good old-fashioned romantic comedy. Back in the day, it seemed there was a new rom-com release every week, as Hollywood showed us just how spectacular love could be. However, in the years since, there has been an apparent move away from the genre, as studios tend to focus their efforts on big-budget films. Thankfully, rom-com legends Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon are here to save the day with their new Netflix film Your Place Or Mine! Here's what we know so far...

As part of Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event, a virtual showcase of the streaming platform's greatest stars and features, two actors took to the screen to share some exciting news. "If you could have done a romantic comedy with anyone in cinema history, who would it be?" Ashton asked Reese while on a video call. "Cary Grant. Tom Hanks. You know what I'm saying?" she replied confidently before returning the question. "Reese Witherspoon," he quickly answered. "Ashton, that is so sweet! That is literally the nicest thing you've ever said to me," Witherspoon gushed in response. Well, it looks like his dreams will be coming true!

The pair will share the screen in their new romantic comedy, Your Place Or Mine. "Are you excited to tell people about our new romantic comedy?" Reese teased. Promising to fulfill all our rom-com dreams, the film tells the story of two best friends, Debbie and Peter. Both searching for change, the two decide to swap homes for a week. With strikingly different personalities, they soon realize that they had no idea what they truly needed to be happy...

The movie's star power extends beyond the screen, as it was written and directed by Aline Brosh McKenna, the brains behind Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Jesse Williams, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Griffin Matthews, Rachel Bloom, Shiri Appleby, Vella Lovell, Tig Notaro, and Steve Zahn will also star in the film. Stream Your Place Or Mine on Netflix starting February 10. Till then, stay tuned for trailers and more!
