And - just like that - the Sex and the City sequel series is back for a second season! The cast is set to reunite less than two months after the finale of the first season was released back in February. Here's what to know so far...

The series stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, who all reprised their roles from the original series Sex and the City, which aired from 1998 to 2004 on HBO - centered on the lives of four friends in their 30s going through the complex reality of life and relationships. This time around, the comedy-drama shows them still tackling similar experiences in their 50s. The first season of And Just Like That proved to be a smash success, becoming the most-viewed series premiere of a new original on HBO Max! Not only that, but the reboot ranked in the top 10 of the service among all movie and series debuts.

And it doesn't look like the producers plan on slowing down the momentum anytime soon. "I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters – played by these powerful, amazing actors," shared the series' executive producer, Patrick King, in a statement. "The fact is, we're all thrilled. And Just like That… our... life is back." And the hype among the network is just as loud. "We have been delighted by the cultural conversation generated by these characters and their stories, set in a world we already know and love so much," shared Sarah Aubrey, Head of Original Content at HBO Max. "We are proud of the work Michael Patrick King and our wonderful writers, producers, cast, and crew have done to bring these stories to the screen. We can't wait for fans to see what's in store for season 2!" And if you're like us, you probably can't wait either!

The first season, executive produced by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, John Melfi, and Michael Patrick King, was a hit among fans. But we guess that now we'll have to wait to see what the second season has in store for our beloved characters (ahem, Samantha). We'll be sure to update you as we find out more about the upcoming season! Stay tuned.
