Alicia Silverstone Teases 'Clueless' X 'Legally Blonde' Crossover

Even decades later, fans of comedy classics, Clueless and Legally Blonde can't get enough of their legendary lead characters. After all, not only do they take us right back to the golden age of rom-coms, but they're also still quite relatable today. And apparently, Alicia Silverstone is totally open to the idea of bringing them back to our screens - together!

The 45-year-old Clueless star was recently asked about the possibility of a crossover between her character, Cher, with Reese Witherspoon's Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. And Silverstone seemed just as eager as we would be! The actress told Looper that she thought it "would be really fun" and that if "[Reese] wants to do it, [she's] in." "Well, I think that would be really fun, and you should pitch that idea. It's a good one," Silverstone assured. We've got a feeling we're not the only ones totally buggin' right about now...

After all, Legally Blonde, in specific, has been garnering endless buzz online these days. And with good reason. For those who forgot - back in December, Reese Witherspoon teased an update on Legally Blonde 3, which is slated to hit our screens somewhere in the near future! "We are just working on a script right now, and when we have a script, then we can make a movie," the actress and producer of the upcoming sequel revealed to Variety. Anyone else feeling as excited as we are? But until we get to catch Elle Woods continue using legal jargon in everyday life, we can't help but wonder about that potential Clueless X Legally Blonde crossover...

Considering the goal-driven and unapologetic nature of the comedies' two protagonists, it's easy to see why fans of both rom-coms would love to see them meet. Whether they ultimately team up against a college professor for giving out bad grades or face one another in a courtroom during a legal dispute, a storyline involving both boss ladies would certainly be a treat for fans!
