Nirvana's own Dave Grohl met his most adorable fan yet when he was challenged to a drum-off by a 10-year-old girl. Nandi Bushell, a passionate up-and-coming musician from England, took to Twitter to challenge one of the most iconic rockstars, and her proposal was a success!
My dream is to one day jam with Dave Grohl, @taylorhawkins and all the @foofighters! Mr Grohl I would love to have a drum battle with you! I LOVE Everlong it’s really hard to play as it’s so fast but so much FUN! #foofighters pic.twitter.com/Pmdhvl57uu

Dave's never one to turn down a challenge, so he brushed up on some of his old songs and prepared for the competition of a lifetime. Nandi's a seasoned performer, having played with Lenny Kravitz, Dua Lipa, and other stars. So, Dave got a hold of his daughter's drumset and started practicing.

"I'm really flattered you picked some of my songs to do for your videos," Dave wrote to Nandi. "This is my response to your challenge. Now the ball is in your court." He was certainly impressed by this young rockstar's talent, but not surprised, as he said he's seen her on the internet before.
After drumming his heart out in Nandi's challenge, Grohl told his competitor, "I've seen all your videos, I've seen you on TV. You're an incredible drummer." He gave Nandi a new challenge; Play Dead End Friends by Crooked Vultures.

Nandi's been drumming since she was 5-years-old, ever since her parents gave her a miniature drum set. Her parents have always been fans of the Beatles and Nirvana, so naturally, Nandi grew to love their music. Her YouTube channel, where she showcases most of her musical talent, has over 150 thousand subscribers.

It looks like Nandi has a lot more collaborations in the future with some of our favorite artists, so be sure to keep an eye out for this young rockstar. In the meantime, you can find her drumming alongside Dave Grohl on YouTube, and these two certainly make an incredible duo.
