This year the royal family wasn't able to partake in their volunteer work like normal, but Prince William couldn't be stopped from doing the greater good. "I'm going to share a little secret with you guys, but I'm actually on the platform of volunteering," said William.

Prince William is one of over 2,000 volunteers trained to support anyone in crisis via text message. Both he and the Queen want all volunteers to be aware of how much they appreciate their service and plan on getting back to their usual work once the world goes back to 'normal.'

Volunteers Week is an annual celebration of the contributions made by all of these amazing and dedicated individuals and organizations throughout the UK. Since the coronavirus outbreak, approximately 750,000 people have signed up to become NHS Volunteer Responders, and the Queen couldn't be more proud of her people.

Last week, William and Kate released two endearing recorded video calls in honor of National Volunteering Week. The royal couple spoke with volunteers from Conscious Youth and Machynlleth Community Corona Response, putting a smile on everyone's faces.
