Following the very eventful Oscars on March 27, we all waited anxiously to see how the 2022 Grammys would go. Thankfully, it's safe to say the drama that went down was a lot lighter. But our take on things is never as good as Twitter's - let's have a look, shall we?
Ahead of the major event, a few social media users seemed to be not-so-ready-yet to move on from Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, despite the actor's public apology following the incident. The focus this time, however, was on the public feud between Kim K's new beau Pete Davidson and her ex Kanye West. The rapper was banned from performing at the event, but that didn't stop Twitter users from hoping he'd make an appearance. The jokes began to roll in before the night even began, with one person tweeting, "Heard Pete Davidson is presenting the best rap album at the Grammys hopefully, Kanye won't slap him too tonight." Another user appeared to side with Pete, writing, "I'll only watch the #grammys if someone slaps Kanye." Too soon? Not for these social media users. But we're glad to know everyone eventually went home unharmed.
On a lighter note, users on the platform joked about Doja Cat's hilarious story of rushing out of the bathroom in the middle of doing her business to accept her Grammy award. One user named Nick Pasternak hilariously wrote, "@DojaCat sprinting from the bathroom to accept her Grammy is the most relatable thing a celebrity has ever done. That is literally me sprinting to make a Zoom call on time because I (wrongly!) believed I had enough time to pee beforehand." LOL - definitely relatable.

Of course, we can't not mention Twitter's reaction to South Korean band BTS' sharp looks that night, and we've gotta say it: They were dressed to kill. Twitter didn't hold back on its praise for the boy band's red carpet appearance. One person posted a funny video expressing their pity for whoever had to follow them after they stunned onlookers. The hilarious video shows an exasperated man looking about done with everyone and everything. He packs up his things and appears ready to leave - honestly, we'd feel the same way. Gotta love Twitter for their hilarious sense of humor...
