The dating world is brutal. Then dating apps came around and well... made it even worse. There is nothing sadder than sitting on the couch with a full pizza while you swipe away trying to find the love of your life. It's just you against thousands of other better-looking people.
Well, there is one very smart fella who has decided to do away with the competition. At the end of the day, there will always be someone better than you so... why bother trying?
He came up with his very own dating app called Singularity. Same concept as Tinder and Bumble except for one tiny difference. Any woman can join. However, the only man available to choose from is the one and only Aaron Smith.
Aaron is 31-year-old and tired of looking for his sweetheart. He couldn't stand the losing battle of trying to compete with other men so he decided to think out the box and make his own stage. "The biggest problem with the other apps is that my face is not featured prominently," said the young bachelor.
"If life gives you lemons, you should first make lemonade. Then make sure no other companies can produce or distribute their own soft drinks. So the only game in town is lemonade," Aaron so cleverly said.
Aaron's best friend is also his software engineer, Scott McDowell, who thinks this could change the game of online dating."All of us who have done online dating in some sorta way can all relate to the fact that it really does sometimes suck," he said.
The app has yet to become a hit but "Hopefully it will give people a chuckle about just the absurdity of what we're reduced to as a society," Scott told CBS.
