Spending the holidays with Grandma is nice and all - but you know what's even better? Being welcomed in by a group of strangers after a hilarious case of mistaken identity. Sure enough, that's exactly what happened to one high-school student after landing an invite to Thanksgiving a few years back. And he'll be crashing the family reunion again this year...

On November 14, Jamal Hinton took to Twitter to give us a much-needed update on his holiday plans for 2021. In other words? Would he be returning to Grandma Wanda's dinner table when November 25 comes rolling around? Indeed, he will. "We're all set for year 6!" the viral star proudly revealed online.

"It would bring me great joy if you, Mikaela and your family would come to my house on Thanksgiving day," Grandma Wanda was seen asking. Safe to say, a whole lot has changed since then...

Not only did the unlikely strangers spend the holidays together that year, but they've gone on to make a tradition out of it. 1 viral exchange, 6 turkeys and endless amused followers later, and the newfound friends are bringing an entire new meaning to "family reunions." But according to Wanda, she wouldn't have it any other way. "That’s what grandmas do…feed everyone," she assured. We love to see it - though, if that's the case, we're still waiting on our invite...

Until then, stay tuned. And happy holidays!
