The internet hasn't been the same since Nickelodean Jr. uploaded a heartwarming message from Steve Burns, the former host of Blue's Clues. And safe to say, this video has reached a viral status in just a number of days.

Steven Burns, more commonly known as Steve, hosted the beloved children's show from 1996 to 2002 and played a profound role in the childhoods of millions of millennials from North America and beyond. And after nearly two decades of absence from the show, Steve came back in his famous green polo shirt to send us a little message - and made many grown-ups sob in doing so. The two-minute-long video shows Burns talking about his journey post-Blue's Clues and how appreciative he is of the long-time support he's received from fans. But what did viewers have to say about it?

Well, the video raked in over 2,000,000 likes on Twitter and generated over 500k retweets. It seemed as though millennials couldn't get enough of the sentimental shout-out. That might be because of the video's little motivational speech that many took to heart. "And then look at you," Steve says while gesturing to the camera. "And look at all you have done and all you have accomplished." In the thousands of replies to the original video posted by Nickelodeon's account, it's clear that some Twitter users were in their feels while others found the whole ordeal hilarious, especially when it came to whether or not they deserved praise for their accomplishments.

But some reactions to the video went beyond the millennial age gap. In fact, one 57-year-old couldn't even hide his emotions, no matter how much he tried. Steve stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to check up on Stephen after he tried to downplay his emotional reaction to the video. "Like I said, nice message and everything, but the show is for my kids, and I am a man... And by definition, I feel nothing," Colbert said unconvincingly. But the facade came crashing down when Steve offered his "friend" a hug.
