You know what they say, "What happens at the airport, stays at the airport" - until now. Thanks to UK-based content creator, Thomas Miller, we've been given a sneak peek at what actually happens to our precious luggage once we hand them over to those conveyor belts of no return.

Thomas, who is a frequent flyer, decided to put a camera on his suitcase to capture the baggage process in all its glory. The video quickly went viral, garnering over 16.1 million views. That's more views than some celebrity TikTok dances! Watching from the luggage's point of view, viewers were treated to the bag's journey through the airport, complete with twists and turns on the conveyor belt, and a quick wave to a crew member before being placed with the other suitcases headed to their various destinations.

Now, you might be thinking, "Big whoop, it's just a bag on a conveyor belt." But did you know that over 100,000 suitcases go through airports every day? Thomas has lifted the lid on the baggage process, giving us a newfound appreciation for the technology and staff involved in ensuring our bags end up where they're supposed to be. Alternative Airlines, a site that helps you book flights from anywhere in the world, confirmed the accuracy of Thomas's footage by detailing what happens after you drop your suitcase off. The suitcase will make its way to the sorting office, where 'robots or staff' will organize them into the correct aircraft. During its travel journey, it will also go through a security checkpoint to determine if there are any suspicious items inside before being loaded onto the right aircraft.

Needless to say, the hilarious clip received tons of reactions on social media. While some were shocked by the "shocking and revealing" video, others were "expecting more." One person even said they "wanted more drama," like come on people, it's a suitcase, not an action movie! Now, for all you curious cats out there, some viewers questioned if it was illegal to place a camera on your bag and record the baggage process. Well, according to Flyertalk.com, surveillance cameras to protect your own property are not illegal in the US. So go ahead, put a GoPro on your bag, and let the airport fun begin!
