Having a pet is not all fun and games. The maintenance they require is no simple task and they can't be cooped up in the house all day. So, we can only imagine how chuffed this dog owner is, considering his clever pooch can get herself to the park and back all by herself.
The Labrador lives in America and her owner noticed that she was fully capable of catching a bus, spending some time at the park and making it home before dark.

Her name is Eclipse and she is a black Labrador Retriever-cross-Mastiff. Her owner, Jeff Young, used to walk her to the bus stop in Seattle, Washington pretty much every day. Once they got off the bus, they would spend some time in the Belltown Dog Park.
A Facebook fan page was set up for Eclipse when her owner realized that she's not your average dog. She could take care of herself independently and knew the exact route to the park and back. Seattle native, Robbie Lauren, posted on her page that "It started when her owner, Jeff Young, was taking too long when the bus arrived, so she impatiently ran ahead and got on the bus by herself."
You snooze you lose Jeff!

"The bus driver recognized her and dropped her off at the dog park, and later Jeff caught up with her. After several more trips by herself, Jeff started letting her go on her own, and she always comes back home a couple of hours later. Every day she leaves her house, by herself, and takes the bus downtown to the dog park where she spends a couple of hours getting exercise and making friends, and then she takes the bus back home again. She even has her own bus pass attached to the collar."
People have begun uploading their own pictures of her whenever they come across this remarkable dog. She's developed quite a fanclub!

With a whopping 78,000 followers on Facebook, people make an effort to take the same bus as her just to get their picture with Eclipse. Another fan, Lauren, added that everyone loves seeing Eclipse when she gets on: "All of the bus drivers know her and she makes them smile, and many of the regular passengers enjoy seeing her every day and will often sit down next to her.
"Even the police have given their approval as long as the bus drivers are okay with the arrangement.
"She makes everybody happy."
