July has come to an end, and while it may be alarming that the year is flying by, we prefer to look at the glass half full. As you know, the begging of a new month calls for some updates from our beloved streaming site. Here's what you can expect on Netflix this August.
Project Power (2020)
This upcoming American superhero film features a former soldier who teams up with a cop to find the source of a new and dangerous drug. A pill that gives its users superpowers for 5 minutes hits the streets of New Orleans, but its risky side effects demand a takedown of the group responsible for this creation.

With an impressive cast including Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Dominique Flashback, the film is said to be released on the 14th of August.

Work It (2020)
When an 18-year-old's admission to college depends on her dance performance, she forms a group of dancers to take on the best squad in the school.

Stars include, Sabrina Carpenter, Liza Koshy and Alabama’s Jordan Fisher. The film is said to be released on the 7th of August.

Hoops
If there's one area that has caused Netflix some great success, it's their potty-mouthed cartoon characters. The sitcom Hoops, is said to be released on the 21st of August, and it features a rather inappropriate high school basketball coach.

His mission is to make it to the big leagues by giving his awful team a complete makeover. You can expect hilarious voice work from Jake Johnson, Rob Riggle, Natasha Leggero and Ron Funches.
Needless to say, we're beyond excited!
