Comedy figure Tim Heidecker might make this month a lot better... or at least a bit funnier. The star recently announced plans to release a stand-up special, a first for the experienced comedian.

Heidecker's resume is no joke. The comic balances many hats as an actor, producer, musician, and podcast host. He co-created hit shows including Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Tom Goes To The Mayor, On Cinema, and Beef House. And that's not all.

Tim also has an interactive weekly podcast, Office Hours, where listeners can call and participate in the show. The funny guy holds an extensive track record of creating and starring in successful series and films, which is why it may be surprising that he has never done a stand-up special. Until now.

The stand-up, titled An Evening With Tim Heidecker, is set to premiere on October 23rd via Youtube. "You can call it a send-up, a parody, a character, a performance piece, or whatever you'd like, but at the end of the day, it's jokes! Please clap," said a press release for the performance.

The trailer, posted by Heidecker on Twitter, promised an evening with "uncertainty," "laughter," and "enlightenment." The animated words flashed on screen in-between sneak peeks of some of the night's laughable moments. Excited fans were quick to give thanks in the comments section.

"I can tell just by your facial expressions this is going to be a real hoot," said one Twitter user. Another viewer seemed to already want more as he wrote, "Why only an evening? Why not a week???" Well perhaps if all goes well, we'll be seeing some more stand-up material from the comedy icon!
