I don't know how she does it, but somehow, the blonde-haired legend continues to amaze us - and not just thanks to her godly musical capabilities...
It's been only mere weeks since news broke that the award-winning artist adopted 18-year-old boys. But, brace yourselves for more shocking news, because she's officially just gone from mother to grandma, and we've never been more surprised.
In an interview with Zane Low this past Tuesday, the star bared all, and we're about to fill you in on everything you need to know.
“My youngest son just had two babies. I'm a f****** grandma!" she told the Apple Music host. "I'm just immediately horrified. No, I'm cool. They call me Nana. I’m trying to get them to call me Lovey, like Kris [Jenner],” the star revealed.
It's wild to think that the Chandelier singer has gone from motherless to mother... and now, grandma, in a mere matter of months. So, how exactly did everything go down?
It all started back in 2019, when she first adopted the boys because they were “aging out of the foster care system.” Unfortunately, as she put it, the system is "failing us. Not in my experience, in my sons’ experience. They’ve been in 18 different locations in their 18 years.”
But that's not all she revealed. Her newest additions, too, faced "conditioning and complex trauma" while suffering in foster care. Luckily for them, they've now got an amazing mother who's just as gifted when it comes to opening up her heart, as she is to hitting those high notes.
I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more about them in the future, so stay tuned.
