During the virtually hosted episode, the comedian explained that she moved from New York City to Los Angeles after getting "sacked" from Saturday Night Live. Following a few attempts at landing an acting audition, she managed to find one for NBC's sitcom Pride & Joy, which was going to be alongside Caroline Rhea, Jeremy Piven, and Craig Bierko.

"I looked 15 and was hired to play a wife, mother, architect in New York City," she told her fans at the Q&A event. Silverman continued on to explain how she didn't really know the difference between a love-kiss and a camera-kiss. "I just fully did an open-mouth tongue kiss every time. I didn't know better, and nobody said anything," she told. Silverman also went on to reveal that her only kissing-reference at the time was from the TV show Happy Days. "They made out hard in that," she added.

The Wreck-It Ralph actress also revealed that she believes it was easier for the auditioners to fire her than to have the "awkward conversation" about her on-stage kissing tactics. When loyal fans heard of Sarah's little 'mishap,' they showed their support for the star, assuming it was an extremely dfficult time for her. But in true Silverman fashion, she reassured her followers, saying that she is delighted with her past because it made her who she is today. "It gets me to wherever I am... here," she said.
