Like it or not, it's hard to remember a time when Pete Davidson wasn't gracing our screens each Saturday night. But as SNL's latest season comes to an end, we can't help but wonder: What now? Will the funny guy be back for more?

Luckily, it appears we've got some answers. Pete Davidson just sat down with Gold Derby to address his speculated return to the stage next season. Though from the looks of it, he might be just as confused as we are.  "Speaking for myself, I don't know what the plan is," Davidson confessed.

As the comedian put it, "Everything is kind of up in the air right now just depending on scheduling. It is my seventh year, and that's what the contract is usually for." After several years on our screen, we've seen lots of Davidson's co-stars come and go. But don't get it twisted, he's actually more than happy to share the spotlight.

"It's a big cast; there's a lot of new guys in there, and there's a lot of great new talent that it's their time to shine," he continued. Might we be meeting new faces when season 47 comes rolling around? We guess only time will tell. What we do know, though, is that season 46 was one for the books. And Pete couldn't agree more.

"This was my favorite season so far," the comedian confessed. "The most where everybody was just like let's put on a show and have fun and write some weird, silly **** because everybody's so stressed out." Safe to say, "Chad" certainly didn't disappoint this time around. "It was definitely the weirdest batch of sketches I've ever seen... But I think the most memorable season I've had."

Stay tuned.
