One of the best family-friendly series to come out of the 2000s might have a second go around! For years fans have been requesting a reboot of NBC's Parenthood, and now Jason Katims, the shows creator, finally chimed in on the conversation, explaining he too could see a future for the Braverman family after all...

Although it's been nearly a decade since the show's ending, Parenthood still holds a near and dear place in our hearts. The dramedy, starring Peter Krause, Dax Shepard, Lauren Graham, Joy Bryant, Craig T. Nelson, and more, had an ongoing timeslot on NBC from 2010 to 2015 before its heartbreaking ending. Since its ending, the show's creator has spoken out about the potential for a revival - but not until a recent interview with E! News did we get the answers we were looking for.

Katims told E! News in an interview, "It's interesting, I think it's getting to be like enough time has passed where you can really look at the next generation." Okay, so he's on board, is what we're hearing. "I'm so curious to see where Max (Max Burkholder) is and Amber (Mae Whitman) and so many of these people," he continued, "like Drew (Miles Heizer)." Yeah, we're curious too! This feels a bit like a Parenthood, next-generation type deal, and we're here for it! However, Katims acknowledged that getting the gang back together wouldn't be easy. "A lot of things have to fall together for something like that to work," he said, "but you know, never say never." True!

We do know Sam Jaeger, who played Joel Graham on the show, told E! News he'd "do it in a heartbeat." Love to hear it! However, Sam also admitted the show without its patriarch might not be the same. For those that haven't watched, close your eyes because - spoiler alert: at the end of the series, Zeek (Nelson) dies and leaves the family (and us in tears). So to continue without him feels almost unethical? "I don't know what a Parenthood show looks like without Craig T., you know?" Sam said. "That was a necessary end to our series." I guess we'll just have to wait and see... Stay tuned.
