After so many of our favorite musical icons celebrated their Grammy wins on Sunday night, it's time to focus our attention on the actors and filmmakers. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra made the official announcement of this year's Oscars nominees, and it looks like we have a lot of talented stars to celebrate. Take a look at some of the nominees and their incredible reactions to the news.
For starters, Sacha Baron Cohen was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for his iconic comedy, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. "Thank you the Academy for nominating Borat for the second time for Adapted Screenplay and for giving us the award for hiring the most WGA members in one movie," he wrote on Instagram. "And congratulations Bulgaria!!" Baron Cohen was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Trial of the Chicago 7.

Sacha Baron Cohen wasn't the only Borat star to land an Oscar nomination; Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova, who played his daughter, Tutar, was nominated for Best Supporting Actress. "Wow Wa We Waa!" she shared on Instagram. "Thank you to @theacademy for this historic honor. I really can't believe this - to hear my name in the company of these remarkable women and their breath-taking performances is such a dream come true!" Bakalova continued. "This is such a huge moment for me personally and for the arts in Bulgaria." Recently, she also won the Critics Choice Award for Best Actress, so Maria has a lot to celebrate.
Amanda Seyfried was also ecstatic about her nomination for Best Supporting Actress for the Comedy/ Drama Mank. "Working with David Fincher on Mank has been the highlight of my career, and being recognized by the Academy for an experience that brought me this much joy and fulfillment feels surreal," she shared.
"I won't be able to thank David enough for trusting me with this role and the honor of reintroducing the world to the Marion Davies that I've come to know." Many other accomplished individuals have also been nominated for an Oscar, including Leslie Odom Jr., Andra Day, and more.
