Yeah, baby! Mike Myers is back. The comedic genius is back and ready to grace our television screens with laugh after laugh. Netflix just dropped the trailer for Myers' upcoming comedy series, The Pentaverate, and we're stoked. The comedian hasn't starred in a major live-action comedy project since 2008's The Love Guru, so no pressure or anything with this one...

Netflix dropped the trailer right after the actor joined Instagram last week in proper spy format! Where has he been all these years? The star joined Instagram and started uploading some captionless clues all with a five in them - a five-dollar bill, the five train in New York City, the five boroughs, a helicopter with the number 5 on its side, and a Five Guys storefront. So, what is going on? The last clue was The Pentaverate official announcement with the release date, 05.05 - duh! Instagram users were thrilled to see the actors return, commenting, "Can't wait for this Mike!" and "We're not worthy! We're not worthy!" So what is this mysterious comedy about, who does Mike Myers play, and where has Austin Powers himself been since his last headlining movie?

The voiceover of our most beloved green ogre, Shrek, will take on eight different roles in his new mini-series. According to IMDB, the series follows, "An unlikely Canadian journalist [who] finds himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself." In introducing this paradoxical secret society, The Pentaverete, Myers, follows his usual comedic standard by including hysterical outfits and other out there rituals to get to the bottom of things. From an old-school journalist to former media mogul, conspiracy theorist, and five more roles, Myers is sure to reinvent himself through at least one of his personalities! Narrated by House of Gucci's Jeremy Irons, alongside Myers will be comedians Ken Jeong and Keegan-Michael Key, superstar actress Debi Mazar and many other loved household names!

Although Myers has made a few appearances over the past decade, the Wayne's World star took a little hiatus from acting after he married in 2010 and started a family! This will be his first headlining role in years, so buckle in, everyone. If the trailer indicates what the series will be like, we're definitely intrigued and patiently awaiting the premiere on May 5th.
