It looks like we've got a lot to be excited about because a little Saturday Night Live reunion is coming our way. And while it might not be taking place at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, we've got a feeling it will still be hilarious (and, apparently, delicious). Here are all of the details.
It's a Christmas miracle! Some of our favorite faces from SNL are set to reunite just in time for the holidays. What's the occasion? Peacock's upcoming Baking It. The show will span six episodes and follow teams of two as they compete with their best holiday-inspired foods.
And while we can't wait to see what goodies they whip up, it's the cast that's got us really looking forward to the upcoming show. Former SNL co-stars Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg are coming together to host the series. But they're not the only familiar icons joining, as Amy Poehler is an executive producer. Are you freaking out yet?
But don't worry, Maya and Andy won't be the ones judging the food. Their expertise is in comedy, after all. The judging panel will consist of four grandmothers who are expert bakers. Samberg and Rudolph will just be there along for the yummy ride, guiding competitors and viewers through the show with some hilarious commentary.
While Peacock has yet to announce a release date, we'll make sure to keep you updated. In the meantime, if you're as excited as us, you can enjoy binge-watching the new show's sister series, Making It, hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman.
