It's crazy to think it's been almost 10 years since we followed Maya Rudolph on her journey to becoming a Mrs. In honor of the major milestone, the Bridesmaids star just sat down to give us an inside look at the making of the iconic comedy. And from the sound of it? The real action might've been going down when the cameras stopped rolling...

For starters, the star-studded cast went through a whole lot of, um, training before making their way to our screen. "We prepared for the movie by going to a male stripper club, which I had never been to," Rudolph revealed of one of the movie's deleted scenes of, you guessed it, an exotic dancer's club.

But that's not the only fun our favorite troublemakers took part in along the way. In fact, something tells us you're also about to be feeling very jealous. Remember the bridal-shower scene? You know, the one "with the cookie and the puppies?" as Rudolph put it.

The cast got to play with the puppies for a full week while filming on location. "Having puppies for a week that are not yours is really fun," the actress gushed. "I remember that just being sort of a place of goofiness." Yep, totally jealous.

Safe to say, from the adorable pups to the endless laughs, we've been waiting for word of a sequel ever since the comedy first blessed our screens. And, well, we might just be in luck - if you ask Maya Rudolph, that is. Not only is she "down" to get the gang back together, but she's already come up with a perfect title for the potential film.

"It wouldn't be called Bridesmaids — it would be called Old Ladies or something," the actress joked of a highly-anticipated reunion. All jokes aside, it's great to see that almost 10 years later, Maya Rudolph's still got that same sense of humor we know and love.
