Peter Kavinsky, who? Lana Condor's latest adventure is about to have her priorities looking very different. The To All the Boys I've Loved Before actress is set to star in an upcoming Hulu comedy. Hang on while we break down what we know so far...
For starters, the series, titled Take Out, will see Lana Condor being put to the test like never before. Instead of watching her balance a long-distance relationship, we'll watch the actress struggle to maintain a job at a New York City restaurant... all while keeping bad guys off the streets.
More specifically, the big city chef will zone in on stopping an evil crime syndicate, determined to take over New York City. According to THR.com, we'll be getting "an irreverent look at the modern-day relationship comedy while also deconstructing one-dimensional tropes from martial arts pop culture."
Are you as excited as we are? It appears we’re not the only ones eager to catch Lana in action on the big screen. “I couldn’t be more excited to embark on this epic journey with the best partners around,” Condor – who’ll also be co-producing the adventure – gushed of her latest role. “Thank you, Hulu for your belief in our story, and we can’t wait to share it with the world!”
But wait, the actress actually has more cooking up for the rest of us. In case you forgot, the Netflix star is also set to star in the upcoming comedy, Boo, B*tch. The future series will see Lana as a high-school senior whose relatively simple life takes a sudden turn one morning when she discovers she's a ghost.
Safe to say, Condor's upcoming adventures are going to be anything but boring. And while we might be waiting a while before we tag along ourselves, we've got a feeling they'll be well worth the wait. Stay tuned.
And in the meantime, excuse us while we go watch the best comedy series on Hulu right now.
