Step aside, Andy Cohen - there aren't only real housewives prancing around Hollywood. In only a matter of time, our favorite husbands will be returning to our screens like never before. Here's what to know about BET+'s limited-series revival starring Kevin Hart (and other familiar faces)...
The Real Husbands of Hollywood is officially back. As BET+ announced, the comedy series will be nabbing a six-episode revival starring the same funny guys we watched get into trouble years earlier. "Such an amazing group of individuals," Kevin Hart gushed on Instagram, alongside several of his fellow cast members. Agreed.
From Nick Cannon to Robin Thicke to Jackie Long, the upcoming series will follow the same group of husbands we met back in 2012. Much like the original, the parody show will follow the daily lives of the famous stars - only their adventures will look slightly different this time around.
In fact, as BET+ put it, Hart and co. will be "giving the climb to fame, fortune, and virality one last go." As for what that'll call for? While we guess we'll have to wait and find out, we can confidently say: expect a whole lot of laughs. Oh, and lots of surprises, including "surprising celebrity guest stars who Kevin likes to call 'friends.'" (*Ahem, The Rock.)
While we have yet to hear any word on a release date, don't worry - there are lots of other Kevin gems to keep us entertained in the meantime. From Netflix's Fatherhood to his Olympics commentary endeavors with a special somebody (below), Mr. Hart has been quite the busy man these days. Seriously, we don't know how he does it.
What we do know, though, is that if Hart's upcoming revival is like anything we've seen before? We're in for a real treat. Make sure to stay tuned. We've got a feeling he's got lots more tricks (and pranks) up his sleeves...
