There's nothing better than two comedians coming together to join their humorous forces for something new. While some are ready to put the jokes to bed for good, this is not the case for Keke Palmer, and she has a few fellow celebs in mind to partner with. Here's what we know.
From starring in Nickelodeon's True Jackson VP to dance-crime Hustlers (2019) and now horror/sci-fi Nope (2022), Keke Palmer has experienced a vast range of roles. But is humor where her heart really lies? It is no secret Palmer is a pro on and off the screen. Her vibrant personality works in every environment, but it seems she has a soft spot for comedy. The 29-year-old has even had the pleasure of being the voice for Vogue at the Met Gala in 2021 and pleasantly entertained every star that walked by. However, in her most recent hosting special at the annual Time 100 Next gala, she brought up the topic of conversation over celebs she would like to work with. Prior to the event, she told Variety, "I would love to be in something with my girl Melissa McCarthy... I think me and Adam Sandler can make way. If Will Smith's ready to go back to do some comedies, I'm ready."
Taking a twist on things, the former Disney star has been rationalizing "an action-comedy of some sort, kinda like a haphazard duo that shouldn't be together, but we are together." She continued to tell her vision, "Maybe I'm like a know-it-all punk, and he kind of shows me the ropes... I'm good for — not a reboot, an original, but the conceptual similarity to Look Who's Talking. You remember the baby talking movies? I'm ready to be Kirstie Alley. Let's go!" While Palmer has had an influx of recent opportunities, it seems she is experiencing a rush for roles. When Palmer appeared on Whoopi Goldberg's show in early October, she even teased a Sister Act 3 that could happen "sooner rather than later." On Comedy Central's H*ll of a Week, the 66-year-old responded and got a little excited over the idea, "Ask Keke Palmer to come in. You know, I want everybody to come in... I want Lizzo to come in, I want everybody. I want the girl with the chest, what's her name? Nicki (Minaj), I want Nicki to come!" With all the hype, Palmer ultimately tweeted a spoof poster for the un-made film, and fans were not complaining!

Can we expect a Palmer/Smith production in 2023? Or, if Will doesn't commit, maybe Nicki Minaj or Whoopy Goldberg can fill his spot... Still, while these ideas flood Palmer's mind, fans are more focused on her most recent horror film, Nope. Safe to say, the Jordan Peele production left fans buzzing. And it seems there's more to come! Stay tuned.
