What happens when you see two of Hollywood's biggest names together across our screens? Of course, we're going to have a whole lot of questions. Lucky for us, that's where Josh Duhamel comes into play. The Shotgun Wedding actor just sat down to give us an inside look at his upcoming romcom. And here's everything you need to know.

For starters, working with Jennifer Lopez on the upcoming comedy, Shotgun Wedding, was exactly as amazing as you'd expect it to be. In fact, "It was one of the best experiences I've ever had working, honestly," Duhamel revealed to People of the future film. "J. Lo was awesome to work with."

Then again, when your reality calls for strolls across sandy beaches, what could possibly be bad? "You're in the Dominican Republic, which is absolutely beautiful. We shot at some of the most gorgeous places you've ever seen," the actor gushed. Unfortunately, though, not everything was smooth sailing...

During some time off, the thrill-seeker decided to go for a quick dip in a "beautiful little cove" nearby. Only things didn't go as planned: "This rogue wave comes up as I'm video taping... and literally washed me almost over the edge of this cliff," the actor later revealed to Jimmy Fallon of his dangerous off-set experience.

Luckily, the actor managed to find his way back to safety and can laugh about it now - including the slight battle wounds he may have picked up along the way. "It turned me into hamburger on many parts of my body afterwards," Duhamel joked.

Of course, though, they'll be a whole lot more adventure where that came from when his movie finally hits our screen. In case you forgot, Shotgun Wedding follows a bride (J. Lo) and groom (Josh Duhamel) as they travel across the globe for a dreamy destination wedding. But things soon take a sudden turn, as their grand celebrations are interrupted by hostages.

As for what happens next? We guess we'll have to wait until June 29, 2022 (Shotgun Wedding's official release date) to find out. Until then?

Stay tuned.
