"So I'm definitely over this whole isolation thing," Jamie jokingly wrote alongside an Instagram post of a piece of popcorn inside her ear. "I picked up my ear pod and put it in my ear and was trying to figure out why I couldn't hear." Some loving friends teased the actress in the comments section, asking if she ate her AirPod instead of her snacks and saying the popcorn, "Needs more butter."

Lucky for us, it looks like we'll be seeing more of the Hollywood icon's humor soon, as Curis recently confirmed she's joining forces with comedian Kevin Hart and actress Cate Blanchett for a new project. Jamie took to Instagram once more to share the exciting news: she's been cast in the upcoming Borderlands film.

"THE SECRET GOT OUT!" the star wrote. "Attention gamer, adventure and comedy fans! Pinch me NOW. @lionsgate had me at Cate! I'm looking forward to joining Ms Blanchett and @kevinhart4real and a host of others in @realeliroth BORDERLANDS and run and gun and laugh and kick some major A**! #borderlandsmovie."

The new feature film is based on the popular video game set in the fictional planet of Pandora, where players search for a mysterious artifact. The Halloween star is set to play Tannis, an archeologist who might know how to find the relic. Kevin Hart, who closed his deal for the Lionsgate film in late January, will be playing a soldier, Roland, while Cate Blanchett will be Lilith, the game's thief.

Eli Roth, known for horror films such as Cabin Fever and Hostel, will be directing the action-comedy. The director shared his excitement about working with Curtis, a fellow horror genre figure, for his comedic debut. "Working with the iconic Jamie Lee Curtis has been a lifelong dream of mine, and I am so excited for her to bring her humor, warmth, and brilliance to the role of Tannis," Roth said. We can't wait to see the star-studded crew in action!
