According to Variety, the actor's upcoming character in Day Shift as a hardworking dad is far from ordinary - don't be fooled. You see, while his role might have him cleaning pools by day, by night? He's out keeping vampires off the California streets.

Of course, though, just like any good superhero, our dad will be joined by his very own sidekick: His adorable, quick-witted 8-year-old daughter. Though something tells us she won't be joining in on dad's, um, night activities.

Then again, I guess we'll have to wait and find out. But that's not the only thing up in the air. That's right, not only will Fox be starring in the Netflix production, but he'll also be ticking off a major accomplishment in doing so: executive producing.

Joined by Datari Turner and Peter Baxter, we'll have to wait and see how the actor does managing both sides of the camera. Either way, consider us intrigued. In fact, with Get Out executive producer Shaun Redick also set to produce, something tells us we're in for a real treat.

And while it's probably going to be a while before we actually get to follow along on the adventure, we've got a feeling the comedy will be well worth the wait. Until then, be sure to stay tuned.
