Finally! The trailer for the second season of Rap Sh!t has been released, and fans are getting a glimpse into what they can expect from the hit television show. Here's what to know about what's going to go down.

The story follows two friends from high school, Shawna and Mia, played by Aida Osman and KaMillion, respectively, who decide to form a hip-hop group and try to break out into the Miami music scene. In this latest season, they are graduating from the sunny beaches of Miami and heading on their first national tour. They will be the opening act for rap star Reina Reign, portrayed by Kat Cunning. She's no stranger to controversy, either. Joining the tour is Reina's producer, Francois Boom, played by former Daily Show correspondent Jaboukie Young-White. Not only will the women have to deal with the pains of the industry and the pressures of rising to the top, but they have their own personal problems. Mia is stuck between a budding new romance and her relationship with her baby daddy, while Shawna is potentially facing prison time.

It's never quiet in the rap game. The second season is set to premiere on Max on November 9 with a two-episode special. Afterward, episodes will be released weekly until the season's finale on December 21. The show's second season was originally meant to be released at the end of the summer but was postponed due to the ongoing strikes in Hollywood. While the SAG-AFTRA strikes are still happening, the WGA strike has completed with a deal being struck, and now, at last, fans can enjoy the hit show's second season. Before the strikes, showrunner Syreeta Singleton spoke with Complex about what fans can expect from Mia and Shawna, "Everything is heightened. The girls are on tour, tensions are high, and they're quickly finding out how much they're willing to compromise for success." Watch the trailer for the upcoming season below to see what high-stakes drama we're talking about.

Fans will also be able to bop along with the soundtrack of the show's second season before the premiere. The soundtrack will debut on November 3 and features tracks from artists like Rico Nasty, Kaliii, Maiya The Don, the show's leading ladies, and more.
