Buckle up and get ready for a wild ride through the gritty streets, where fists do the talking. Our main man here is Miguel, played by the talented Tyler Dean Flores. Now, Miguel is a high school junior who's successfully dodged every punch coming his way. He's never been in a fight, and he's pretty chuffed about it. But life, as we all know, has a funny way of throwing curve balls.

So, when the cosmic pinball machine of fate flips Miguel's life on its head, he decides it's time to toughen up. Alongside his trio of besties - David, the silent warrior (Christian Vunipola); Cass, the wild child (Imani Lewis); and Srini, the one with the razor-sharp wit (Suraj Partha) - Miguel dives headfirst into a whirlpool of rib-tickling misadventures, all to land his first-ever punch. This laugh-riot, Miguel Wants To Fight, is brought to you by the mastermind Oz Rodriguez, who’s worn many hats – editor, comedian, filmmaker, and director of hilarious SNL episodes and uproarious Funny or Die shorts. Remember Vampires vs. the Bronx and Brother Nature? Yeah, that's him! The screenplay is a brainchild of Jason Concepcion and Shea Serrano, and the film is produced by a team that includes Ryan Bennett, Molle DeBartolo, Jeremy Garelick, Mickey Liddell, Will Phelps, Pete Shilaimon, and Rodriguez himself. Mark your calendars, because Miguel is going to throw down on Hulu from August 16th, 2023.

In the wise words of an unknown philosopher (or probably a UFC fighter), "The best fighters see themselves winning – so they win!" So, Hulu is rolling out the red carpet for this indie gem, Miguel Wants To Fight. Think of it as a coming-of-age comedy, but with black eyes and bruised knuckles. It's about a 17-year-old kid who convinces his buddies to help him get into his first-ever rumble before he moves to a new city.

Tyler Dean Flores, our Miguel, sets out on a quest to learn the art of fisticuffs, with a little help from his friends. Also sharing the screen are Imani Lewis, Christian Vunipola, and Suraj Partha, along with Raul Castillo, Dascha Polanco, and Andrea Navedo. If you're a fan of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, you'll find some familiar vibes here, but with its own unique twists and turns. So grab some popcorn and enjoy the fun ride - this one's gonna be a knockout!
