Thanksgiving officially can't come any sooner. After all, with mom's stuffed turkey, a heated NFL game, and some family fun on the cards, Turkey Day is bound to be one for the books. Lucky for you, though, this hilarious comedy will tie you over in the meantime.
That's right, allow us to introduce you to Friendsgiving, otherwise known as the star-studded, action-packed comedy that's bound to get you in the holiday spirit. In fact, with Malin Åkerman, Kat Dennings, and Aisha Tyler starring, forget that Pumpkin Pie, because something tells us you're in for a real treat here.
So, what exactly is the film about? For starters, expect a whole lot of laughs, while you watch Åkerman - who stars as "Molly" - and her intimate Thanksgiving plans get brutally interrupted by, you guessed it, friends and family.
Yep, it's just as crazy as it sounds. But don't take our word for it: "[Nicol Paone told me] 'Let's put together all the craziness that has ensued over the years,' and I thought this was a great way to start producing," Åkerman - who actually produced the movie - revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show of how the hilarious film first came to be.
But while the film might "Look amazing, the budget was actually pretty small," as Kat Dennings later revealed. That's right, the entire movie was filmed from one location, but with this hilarious cast, we're sure they didn't need much else.
Impressive, huh? Lucky for you, the movie is already available in both theatres and on-demand, which means that you don't have to wait for November 26 to experience another awkward family reunion. Happy holidays!
