'Tis the season for iconic Super Bowl commercials - and we couldn't be more excited! Last week we were LOL-ing away at Seth and Paul's ad for Lay's potato chips, but now it's all about fast cars as we pivot to Nissan's hilarious new ad with Schitt's Creek's Eugene Levy. So, buckle up your seatbelts and get ready for this laugh-filled ride.

The iconic comedian dipped his toe out of his familiar sitcom waters and joined the Marvel universe in this new Super Bowl commercial. The ad, showing off the company's latest Z and Ariya models, had some extra star power thanks to big names like Brie Larson, Danai Gurira, and Dave Bautista. This wasn't your average punchline delivered at the Rosebud Motel - Eugene was elevated to superstar status thanks to his Marvel co-stars. The commercial, titled Thrill Driver, posed as a fake action movie project, which saw Eugene rock a Thor-esque wig and complete some pretty wicked car driving stunts. "Nissan thrills have never been bigger," the auto company wrote in the clip's YouTube caption.

The one-minute clip delivered all the action of a Marvel action film with the bonus of Levy's spot-on humor. In the ad, Brie handed the keys of her whip to Eugene, who was in the midst of enjoying his cup of joe. But once in the ride, Levy went through a transformation just like a Marvel character tapping into his superpowers. It doesn't take the Emmy-winning actor long to find his groove, and he even finds himself whizzing past his Schitt's Creek co-star, Catherine O'Hara. And within seconds, we're taken to a rooftop action scene complete with fire, helicopters, and, of course, Eugene in his sweet ride coming to save the day. And one thing's for sure, we'd love to see this short clip turned into a full-length film, just as the commercial teases at the fake film premiere.

And the best part of it all? We've still got over a week until the Super Bowl for more funny ads to come our way. So be sure to check back soon as we keep you updated on all things comedy!
