Good news, guys. Netflix's beloved comedy Emily in Paris is officially returning to our screens! Here's everything to know about the series' season 2 premiere, including its newly-released teaser.
It looks like the show's newest season will be taking us outside of bustling Paris and to the French Riviera for a glamorous vacation - filled with delicious food, humor, and, of course, fashion. The newly released promo shows the protagonist Emily (played by Lily Collins) as she explores the beautiful town of Saint-Tropez, with lots of Instagram shots and a few embarrassing moments along the way.

And season 1 fans can rest easy knowing that some of our favorite faces will be returning to the small screen. Featured in the 49-second teaser clip alongside Emily are Camille (Camille Razat) and Mindy (Ashley Park). The gal pals are seen hanging pool-side and attending glitz parties. But don't worry, they're not the only ones coming back for round two.
While they didn't appear in the trailer, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julian), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine), and Kate Walsh (Madeline) are all set to return. But we'll also meet lots of new faces. New cast members include Lucien Laviscount, Jeremy O. Harris, and Arnaud Binard.
Laviscount will reportedly star as Emily's new love interest. According to TVLine, the two characters will initially have an "antagonist relationship that evolves more as the season progresses." But fresh romances aren't the only thing we can expect upon the comedy's premiere date. Show creator Darren Star teased that the upcoming episodes will be "more about digging deeper" into Lily Collin's character.
The mastermind also assured that the new season "is by far a stronger" one than the first. "There's a new love interest for [Emily], there's a lot more intrigue at work, in relationships," Star assured PEOPLE. "I think she also just gets more immersed in learning French and really struggling with the language in a way she didn't get to do first in the first season, because she's really trying this season."
The hit series will return to Netflix on December 22nd. Let the countdown begin!
