CBS has dropped the mic! Damon Wayans and his son, Damon Jr., are teaming up for an upcoming father/son comedy series. That's right - the hilarious duo will explore their contrasting views on life. Here's what we know so far...

According to Variety, the multi-camera logline reads, "Legendary talk radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” (Damon Sr.) has his point of view challenged at work when a new female co-host is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son (Damon Jr.), a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband." This unique comedy-drama promises lots of funny and witty moments, so get ready to turn into Poppa's World.

CBS is totally killing it with its amazing upcoming projects, and this one is no exception! Damon Sr. and Jr. are teaming up to create a hilarious new show that'll have us crying from laughter - if you don't already know, both of them have proven themselves on the comedy circuit and we can only imagine how funny whatever they come up with will be! As an added bonus, Kameron Tarlow from Two Shakes Entertainment is overseeing production for CBS Studios, so we KNOW it's gonna be funny, witty, and totally worth watching. The masterminds behind Happy Together, My Wife and Kids, The Understand, and Happy Endings are only creating bigger and better things right before our eyes.
