Hold on to your hats, folks! We've got a story about Courteney Cox, the girl from Alabama who dreamed of making it big in Hollywood. And boy, did she make it! From her first recurring role on Family Ties back in 1987 to her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, this woman has achieved more than most people could ever dream of...

But don't be fooled by her success. Even Cox herself admits that she was nervous as hell when she first started out. "It's so hard to go into a hit show," she says. "Every time I went, it felt like I was starting from scratch!" But being on a show with Michael J. Fox taught her everything she needed to know about acting and comedy. The guy could take one line and turn it into three different parts that would get three huge laughs! Talk about a master! Of course, we can't talk about Courteney Cox without mentioning Friends. That show was nominated for 62 Primetime Emmy Awards, people! And yet, despite all the accolades and attention, what Cox remembers most is the camaraderie between the cast and crew. They were like family, always bouncing ideas off each other and supporting one another through thick and thin.

Even Jennifer Aniston agrees: "We just have fun when we're working together," she says. "It also helped that we were on one of the funniest-written shows at the time." And let's not forget those flashback episodes where Rachel and Monica were in high school (before Rachel got her nose job). Ahh, good times! But enough about Friends. Let's talk about Courteney Cox's other claim to fame: Gale Weathers from Scream. Apparently, Cox had to convince director Wes Craven that she could play a ruthless newswoman after years of being known as the girl next door. But boy did she nail it! And if you ask us, Weathers is still one of the best characters in horror movie history.

So what's next for Miss Cox? Well, right now, she's starring in Shining Vale, a gem that combines comedy and horror (two things we never thought would go together). She's also obsessed with true crime stories (who isn't these days?) and hoping to land a role in an upcoming script. All we can say is this: keep doing your thing, Courteney! You're an inspiration to aspiring actors everywhere – especially those from Alabama who dream of making it big (we see you!).
