Christina paid a visit to The City That Never Sleeps just about a week ago on January 22. The reason for her visit? To film her new stand-up for Netflix. It's a new year, and the comedy gods have decided to bless us with fresh content from this talented, funny gal. The one-hour special, whose title has yet to be announced, was shot at New York City's Gramercy Theatre to a COVID-safety-approved live audience. And while we don't know much more at the moment, we've got a lot to look forward to considering Christina's track record. Need a refresher? Let's dive right in.

The 45-year-old previously hit our small screens in October 2017's Christina P: Mother Inferior and 2018's The Degenerates. The former received strong reviews and marked a milestone in the comedian's stand-up career. Mother Inferior, which was shot at Seattle's The Showbox, focused on the harsh and hilarious realities of being a mom. And since then, Christina has been sharing all of her LOL-worthy thoughts with the world on her podcast, Your Mom's House. The comedian co-hosts with her husband, fellow comedian Tom Segura. And she also has a one-woman podcast titled Where My Mom's At?

Her newest project, in which she serves as executive producer with John Irwin, is directed by Ryan Polito. And it looks like Christina is just as excited as we are for the upcoming stand-up. "NYC - I'm honored to shoot my special with you," she wrote on the Gram. "We are gonna blanket this city with wall-to-wall denim." After filming the show, Christina added, "Thank you NYC for coming out hard last night. Thank you @netflix and countless others who made last night possible. I can't wait to share this special with you." We can't wait, either! Stay tuned!
