Movies about dogs are sure-fire ways to make it big at the box office. But it doesn't hurt when you include Channing Tatum, either! Here's everything to know about the Hollywood icon's upcoming comedy, Dog.

The Logan Lucky actor is known for starring opposite Hollywood's most attractive actresses, but we have a feeling that the co-star of his upcoming film may just be the cutest yet. Tatum will be appearing in Dog, which hits screens next February.

Channing plays an army ranger who embarks on a cross-country road trip with a Belgian Malinois, Lulu. The purpose of the pair's adventure is to give Army Ranger Briggs, who is down on his luck, a second chance to get back in the game by making sure Lulu gets to her handler's funeral.
Not only is the 41-year-old showing off his acting skills in the new flick, but Dog also marks Channing's directorial debut. He assumed the role alongside his creative partner, Reid Carolin, who has previously produced several of the actor's movies, including Magic Mike, 22 Jump Street, and White House Down. The first trailer for the film has now been released, and Army Ranger Briggs certainly has his work cut out for him, as far as his furry companion is concerned.
Despite her adorable name, Lulu is one fierce military pup who is said to have sent three guys to the emergency room. "Maybe we can just take crazy down one notch," Briggs says while driving the canine, who is upset to be in her cage. It is somewhat understandable that he refers to her as a "demon" when she ferociously rips up his car seats.
But as their relationship progresses, the two become best buddies. "You're definitely not the girl I thought I'd be in the tub with," Tatum jokes as his character takes a bath with Lulu. "But I'll take what I can get at this point, I guess." This will be the first time since 2017 that the dancer-turned-actor has starred in a leading role, but we have a feeling that he might be shown up by his co-star. Dog opens in cinemas on February 18th, 2022.
