Fans of Dwayne Johnson got a pleasant surprise back in May when we learned the actor is set to voice Krypto the Superdog in a new animated film, DC League of Super-Pets. Seven Bucks, the Rock's television company, is also producing the comedy. So who exactly will be on our screens? Superman's dog, Krypto; Batman's dog, Ace the Bat-Hound; Wonder Woman's kangaroo, Jumpa; and Supergirl's cat, Streaky the Supercat.

The animated flick will center around the super-pets as they create their own crime-fighting team. The Rock took to the Gram and made sure fans know this movie is for everyone. "Ladies, gents and children of ALL ages it's my absolute pleasure to INTRODUCE our star studded @DCLeagueOfSuperPets cast playing our league of two and four-legged heroes and villains," the Fast and Furious icon wrote alongside the film's new teaser. "Our @sevenbucksprods has again partnered with @dccomics and writer/director Jared Stern to bring you and your families SUPERHERO & SUPER VILLAIN FUN around the world."

And then the famed actor let us in on who exactly will be voicing our newest furry friends (and enemies). Buckle up because it's going to be a wild and hilarious ride: Kevin Hart, Vanessa Bayer, John Krasinski, Diego Luna, Natasha Lyonne, and Keanu Reeves have all joined the cast. "The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change," Johnson added.

The Rock wasn't the only one who took to social media to spread his excitement over the newest members. "Oh hell yeah! So psyched to get to be a part of this crew!!" wrote our favorite The Office heartthrob, John Krasinski. Likewise, former Saturday Night Live star Vanessa Bayer said she's "Truly thrilled to be a part of @dcleagueofsuperpets and this dream team!!!" But don't hold your breath to hear this hilarious crew's voices at your local movie theater; the film is scheduled for release nearly a year from now, on May 20, 2022. We'll keep you in the loop of any barking - we mean breaking - updates.
